About Beth Horner

My family is from Tennessee always vacationing in Florida. I grew up in the midwest attending I.U.P.U.I. studying business and finance. I attended school for my residential appraiser license and retired from Banc One Financial Services as the operations manager for their western mortgage division. I was promoted and transferred to Phoenix, Arizona for 16 years. My husband and I were buying homes and remodeling them in Arizona. We moved to Oregon and started a bed & breakfast on the Williamson river along with a kayaking business in the Winema National Forest a few miles from Crater Lake National Park. My husband and I are outdoor sports enthusiasts meeting during a motorcycle rally. We both ride motorcycles and became fast friends. After we sold Crater Lake Cabins and Kayaks in Oregon. We decided to move our 3 Australian Shepherds 3000 miles to Florida to be closer to family. We found the perfect beach house in Ormond by the Sea. I call her the Mermaid Cottage. After spending some time on the beach and exploring the area, I decided to become a Florida Realtor. It was the perfect fit for me based on my experience with title, appraisal, mortgage, notary, and property management. My husband's background is residential construction so getting his handyman license here in Volusia county was perfect for him. He is busy helping all the senior citizens in our neighborhood and is quite popular. We are a great team here in Ormond Beach.
